Sr. Account Manager / Business Development Manager - IT Staffing 

Location:  Addison, TX 
 *In-office position with flexible schedule to accommodate client meetings and prospecting*
Compensation: Base salary + uncapped commissions!
Educational Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university 

GTN is seeking is a Sr. Account Manager / BDM to join their Mid-Market Team in Addison, TX. This role is perfect for a seasoned AM/BDM who understands the process of building a book of IT staffing business. This is not a full-desk role – you will have a team of recruiters supporting you from a Delivery perspective. 

You will be offered the autonomy to do what needs to be done in order to bring in new business and grow your clientele. Although we do not follow a metrics-based system, the focus of this role will be setting new client meetings, building rapport with key client stakeholders, and working alongside hiring managers to identify and deliver top IT talent, both locally and nationally.

The Sr. AM/BDM should be able to step in day one and comfortably illicit technical job requirements, re-write job descriptions to emphasize key skills, and manage proper expectations for both clients and the internal GTN Delivery team. GTN encourages all our AMs to take a creative approach to building their book of business, allowing you to hone your craft however you deem most efficient and productive. You will not be handheld. 

GTN offers a variety of specializations in our suite of services, including Managed Services (focused on end-user support, break-fix, and Dispatch), Project Management, Application Development, Infrastructure Services, Payrolling, and Digital Marketing. Although the focus will be on building new IT staffing business, you will always have an avenue and the support to grow Statement of Work business. 

Our internal tool stack includes full ZoomInfo access, LinkedIn licenses, Bullhorn for ATS, and O365 tools (Outlook, MS Teams, etc.)   

  • 2-5+ years in a Technical Recruiter or Account Manager role, preferably in an agency setting
  • Ability to hold yourself accountable and work independently with a disciplined, pragmatic approach 
  • Innate curiosity and desire to learn and master new skills 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with LinkedIn search and social marketing 
  • Proven ability to build rapport with technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Ability and willingness to attend regional and national HR and IT tradeshows 
  • Previous experience working with Bullhorn as an ATS
  • Experience working in a corporate sales environment
