Our client is looking for a SharePoint Solutions Specialist to join their team!
Job Description
The SharePoint Specialist will be working in an organization where collaboration, together with best practice document, data and knowledge management are key elements of it’s operations and SharePoint is a key technology being used to address these needs. The candidate will have demonstrated extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of the duties and key responsibilities and will be essential for the role to make a strong, hands on contribution. The SharePoint Specialist will take responsibility for all aspects of the analysis, design, architecture, development, deployment, operations, administration, training and support of key SharePoint Intranet infrastructure and business solutions.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Business Analyst to Understand the MCSO’s collaboration, workflow, reporting, data and document management requirements and opportunities.
Understand/study MCSO’s existing Sharepoint Intranet structure and discover a strategy to migrate to latest architecture and version.
Work closely with users and stakeholders to analyze and determine detailed business requirements as they relate to SharePoint solution opportunities.
Architect / Solution Designer to determine the most effective SharePoint solution architecture and taxonomies to address identified business requirements and maximize search capability.
Review existing SharePoint infrastructure and solutions. Identify and address any architectural deficiencies.
Developer to lead development and deployment of SharePoint solutions to meet identified requirements, engaging and managing developer resources as required.
Support Specialist to Provide expert user support and guidance, as required.
Deliver user training and documentation, as required.
Governance Lead to drive best practice usage and compliance with policy and audit requirements.
Contribute to improving consistency and effectiveness of information and document governance within the MCSO.
Drive consistency in SharePoint deployment and usage, including taxonomies, templates, master pages and security management, Wiki’s.
Skills Required:
Should be considered an expert in Microsoft SharePoint, with a strong working knowledge of the product and .Net programming languages.
Must have worked on latest Sharepoint version (like: 2019 or Sharepoint online).
The preferred candidate should be considered an expert in Microsoft SharePoint, with a strong working knowledge of the product and .Net programming languages.
Experience Required:
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sharepoint development and technical architecture roles in complex business environments.
Must have worked on latest Sharepoint version (like: 2019 or Sharepoint online).
Experienced as Microsoft Sharepoint and .Net developer with hands on programming experience in ASP.Net/MVC, C#, SQL server, SSRS, Reporting services integration in Sharepoint, custom page/webpart development and workflow configurations.
Must have worked on some project that involved moving SharePoint from on-prem to online.
The preferred candidate should be considered an expert in Microsoft SharePoint, with a strong working knowledge of the product and .Net programming languages.
Education Required:
Degree qualification in a relevant discipline is essential
Education Preferred:
Microsoft SharePoint training and certification would be highly desirable
