We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead and mentor two small, agile teams of full-stack engineers focused on delivering innovative cloud-native applications. These teams are responsible for developing a portfolio management solution with advanced data analytics and visualization features, as well as a managed services platform supporting cloud components, developer platforms, and clusters. This is a highly collaborative and technical leadership role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of software architecture, team leadership, and scalable systems design.
The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and a passion for building secure, high-quality solutions. You will drive modern engineering practices, mentor developers, and ensure successful delivery of web and mobile platforms using tools like React, React Native, Go, Python, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow two cross-functional engineering teams working on cloud-native software projects.

Create a high-performing, inclusive engineering culture focused on technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Oversee the development of full-stack web and mobile applications, including a portfolio management platform and a cloud-based managed services platform.

Drive architectural decisions around microservices, serverless computing, authentication, and scalable infrastructure.

Promote and implement best practices in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, code reviews, and security-first design.

Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical execution with business priorities.

Guide teams in delivering features with a focus on scalability, observability, and maintainability.

Ensure effective database design for analytics-heavy workloads and data-driven decision-making.

Advocate for and adopt emerging technologies and patterns where applicable.
Required Qualifications
-
5+ years of engineering leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing high-performing software teams.

Strong hands-on experience with React and React Native for building modern web and mobile applications.

Proficiency in backend development using Go and Python.

Experience designing distributed systems using microservices and serverless patterns.

Expertise in developing secure applications with strong authentication and authorization controls.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for application development and deployment.

Familiarity with database architecture and data modeling, particularly for analytics-heavy applications.

Knowledge of infrastructure automation or managed services platform development is a plus.

Strong communication and leadership skills;ability to collaborate with engineering, product, and executive teams.

Demonstrated commitment to mentoring and developing engineering talent.
