Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Architect (Oracle Cloud) to join their team!

Job Description  

As an Oracle Cloud Technology Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the design of the technical architecture and administration of Oracle Cloud SaaS, PaaS, IDCS and OIC components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Integration Cloud, Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) and experience working as a technical architect in a large-scale healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect and develop OCI technical architecture, environment plan and strategy for the implementation of Oracle SaaS (HCM, Finance and SCM), PaaS (OIC, FAW, ADW and ATP) following OCI best practices.
  • Responsible for Oracle Cloud Platform configuration, administration and provisioning of Oracle Cloud SaaS, PaaS and OIC environments and services.
  • Coordinate and work with Oracle, Infrastructure and Network teams to develop cloud network architecture and connectivity between Oracle OCI and boundary systems.
  • Design and implement VPC environment including server instances, storage instances, ADW and ATP services, subnets etc. in Oracle Cloud
  • Design, Configure and Support High Availability and Disaster Recovery solution for Oracle PaaS services.
  • Monitor the performance and health of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP application, PaaS and OCI services for any potential anomalies.
  • Monitor service detail and service notifications related to patching/critical updates/downtime and take appropriate action.
  • Work with internal teams, system implementer and Oracle to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages.
  • Coordinate with Oracle and system implementer for quarterly upgrades, insta refreshes and code migrations.
  • Add and manage users and provision roles and data access sets based on organization defined data security policies and user role matrix defined by the business. Monitor and Manage Oracle Cloud ERP application in all environments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM products including familiarity with controls around configuration management and deployment of changes to Dev/Test/Prod as an Oracle Cloud Administrator.
  • Experience managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for PaaS and IaaS platform administration and supporting security and system integrations with Oracle Cloud Applications.
  • Strong experience in Technical Requirement Analysis (As-Is, To-Be), Evaluation of Technology Products, Architecture Design and technical roadmap definition
  • Experience or Knowledge in Oracle Database Technologies like Oracle Exadata, RAC, OEM, Data Guard etc.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Security and Integration Security
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards pertaining to Cloud.
  • Experience implementing large scale ERP solutions in Healthcare preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Oracle certification(s) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
