APS LEAD
HIGHLIGHTS
Location: Montreal, Wisconsin, United States (Hybrid)
Position Type: Direct Hire
Hourly / Salary: BOE
Overview:
The purpose of this job is to manage and support all aspects of IBM Sterling Connect Direct, Axway Transfer CFT and Secure transport administration. This position will also handle escalated incidents and perform root cause analysis of any problems that may arise out of Incident Reports (IRs) and/or proactive needs for business.
Main Responsibilities:
Configuration, implementation and support of at least 2 out of the following products: IBM Sterling Connect Direct, Axway Transfer CFT and Axway Secure transport.
Understand business requirements and design solutions accordingly
Ensure quality standards in release
Work with External partners/Vendors to resolve issues or to implement new flows.
Perform root cause analysis for P1/P2/P3 and P4 incidents and/or proactively based on business needs
Follow the required policies and procedures for the incident, problem and change management
Ensure service performance expectations are met with service levels and quality
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate or postgraduate in Technology with Computers or Information Technology (IT) stream.
Or
A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification.
Required Skills:
Knowledgeable about the Product Architecture
Hands-on experience with at least 2 out of the following products: Connect Direct, Axway Transfer CFT and Secure transport installation, configuration and disaster recovery procedures
Has worked on Patching and Migrations
Has Supported the products as an L3
Must have good troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skills
Able to work under minimal supervision
Preferred/Desired Skills:
Capital Markets Domain knowledge is preferred
Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), integration across IPC (Incident, Problem & Change Management)
Knowledge about other products like Control-M, MQSeries and/or NetBackup is preferred.
Shell/Python Scripting proficiency
Performance Goals
Meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) related to production support.
Improvements and optimizations to stabilize the environment
