Azure DevOps Engineer

ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer for a 100% remote, direct-hire role with a well-funded startup in Austin, TX. Our client offers a B2B SaaS solution to their clients with over 50K daily active users. The Azure DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes for our client's growing SaaS platform.
This position is focused on ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance while automating workflows and improving deployment efficiency. The engineer will collaborate closely with development teams to implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security best practices.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a strong background in Azure DevOps and cloud infrastructure. They excel in automating processes, improving operational efficiency, and implementing robust security practices. Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management
Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly reliable cloud infrastructure on Azure.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
CI/CD Pipeline Development
Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Octopus.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automated testing and deployment into development workflows.
Infrastructure Automation
Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Pulumi, Terraform, or Bicep (Pulumi preferred).
Develop scripts to automate routine tasks, system updates, and deployments, driving operational efficiency.
Cloud Security & Compliance
Enforce security best practices within the Azure environment, including identity and access management (IAM).
Monitor, identify, and address vulnerabilities in systems and applications to ensure compliance with security standards.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 4+ years in the following skill sets..
Azure Expertise: Proven experience designing and managing solutions in Azure.
DevOps Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Infrastructure-as-Code Skills: Proficiency with Pulumi, Terraform, or Bicep, with Pulumi preferred.
Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Seq, Application Insights, and Raygun.
Strong scripting skills for automating infrastructure processes and deployments.
