Business Analyst II - Client Integration
Houston, TX US
Job Description
Integration Project Manager (Business Analyst II)
Location: Remote
Team: Client Solutions & Integrations
The Opportunity
Are you a technical bridge-builder who loves the "puzzle" of data integration? We are looking for an Integration Project Manager / Business Analyst II to own the end-to-end delivery of client EDI and API projects.
This isn't just a "requirements gathering" role. You will be the conductor of the orchestra—orchestrating developers, operations, and client stakeholders to turn complex data requirements into seamless automated workflows. If you thrive in Agile environments and enjoy moving from a high-level project plan to a granular field-by-field data mapping, we want to talk to you.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Drive Project Momentum: Own the lifecycle of client integrations (EDI/API) from discovery to go-live. You’ll keep projects on track, manage risks, and ensure everyone—from the client to the developer—knows the next move.
Translate Technical Needs: Conduct deep-dive gap analyses and create the technical "blueprints" (data mappings for X12, XML, JSON) that our developers use to build.
Agile Leadership: Write clear, actionable Jira stories that keep our dev velocity high. You’ll lead stand-ups and ensure no project stalls due to a lack of clarity.
Client Advocacy: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, managing their expectations and navigating scope changes with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Quality Assurance: Partner with Operations to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring the final product meets both technical specs and business needs.
What You Bring to the Table
EDI Subject Matter Expertise: You have a deep understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and are comfortable working with XML and JSON.
Project Orchestration: You have 5+ years of experience managing complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
Data Mapping Skills: You can translate a business requirement into a technical field-by-field map without breaking a sweat.
Agile Mindset: You are comfortable in Jira and know how to keep a dev team fed with high-quality stories.
Logistics/Supply Chain Knowledge: (Bonus) If you understand freight forwarding, warehousing, or customs, you’ll hit the ground running.
The "Soft" Skills: You know when to solve a problem independently and when to pull the "escalation" lever to keep a project moving.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst or Technical Project Manager.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or Supply Chain (or 5+ years of relevant logistics experience).
Tech Stack: Experience with Jira and familiarity with integration platforms (Boomi, Sterling, etc.) is a huge plus.
Certifications: PMP, CSM, or CBAP are great, but your track record of delivering projects is what matters most
