GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer - E.I.T. To join our client's team on a Direct-Hire basis. This role is 100% on-site in Myrtle Beach, SC. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D, combined with a passion for delivering exceptional engineering solutions on residential and site development projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects while collaborating closely with project managers and regulatory agencies to ensure successful outcomes.

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer - E.I.T. To join our client's team on a Direct-Hire basis. This role is 100% on-site in Myrtle Beach, SC. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D, combined with a passion for delivering exceptional engineering solutions on residential and site development projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects while collaborating closely with project managers and regulatory agencies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Civil 3D Proficiency: Apply advanced Civil 3D skills to develop detailed engineering plans, including grading, drainage, and infrastructure designs, while preparing submittals for regulatory approvals.
- Conduct feasibility studies for potential projects by analyzing site constraints, estimating costs, and preparing detailed schedules.
- Assist with preparing technical designs, ensuring adherence to the latest regulatory standards and best practices in residential and site development.
- Collaborate with project managers on construction administration tasks, including site inspections, bid reviews, and progress documentation.
- Create and review engineering reports, perform calculations for infrastructure and drainage systems, and design grading and pavement layouts.
- Actively participate in project progress meetings and discussions with regulatory agencies to align designs with compliance requirements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. Must hold an active Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification with the ability to pursue Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in civil engineering, ideally with a focus on residential land development.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in Civil Engineering consulting
- Familiarity with ArcGIS
