ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer –P.E. To join our client's team on a Direct-Hire basis. This role is 100% on-site in Hurricane, UT.
Currently, our client has one P.E. On staff with a team of four E.I.Ts and two Architects supporting a wide array of projects, from heavy-civil and municipal projects, to subdivision and small retail/commercial projects. This role, once hired, will have a team underneath them, consisting of two of the current E.I.T.’s.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D, combined with a passion for delivering exceptional engineering solutions on subdivision, commercial, and site development projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects while collaborating closely with project managers and regulatory agencies to ensure successful outcomes.

- Civil 3D Proficiency: Apply advanced Civil 3D skills to develop detailed engineering plans, including grading, drainage, and infrastructure designs, while preparing submittals for regulatory approvals.
- Conduct feasibility studies for potential projects by analyzing site constraints, estimating costs, and preparing detailed schedules.
- Assist with preparing technical designs, ensuring adherence to the latest regulatory standards and best practices in residential and site development.
- Create and review engineering reports, perform calculations for infrastructure and drainage systems, and design grading and pavement layouts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. Must hold an active P.E. Certification
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in civil engineering, ideally with a focus on subdivision and commercial development.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
