Civil Litigation Attorney responsibilities include assisting the company in monetizing $27 million owed by clients. This position will involve developing collection strategies to legally secure payments from customers. Key role in obtaining outstanding payments from clients.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Assessment & Strategy:
    • Evaluate legal claims and develop case strategies based on needs.
    • Conduct legal research to support case arguments and motions.

  • Pre-Trial Litigation:
    • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
    • Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document requests.
    • Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) when applicable.

  • Courtroom Representation:
    • Advocate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
    • Present oral arguments, cross-examine witnesses, and deliver opening/closing statements.

  • Client Interaction & Case Management:
    • Provide legal advice and keep us informed on case progress.
    • Maintain thorough case documentation and manage deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the state bar association.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and litigation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure.
Preferred Experience:
  • 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
  • Trial experience is a plus.
