Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Cloud Engineers to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
Automate deployment and configuration processes using Ansible for efficient and consistent infrastructure management.
Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (K8s) for scalable and resilient deployments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to continuously improve our infrastructure architecture.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), including proficiency in managing cloud services and resources.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for automating infrastructure deployments.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible for automating software provisioning, configuration, and management.
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (K8s).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed cloud environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Certifications in GCP, AWS, Terraform, and/or Kubernetes are a plus.
Experience with Linux servers primarily and Windows based servers
Experience with patching and ansible
DevOps experience w/build and deploy as well as config management
