Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager - Industrial Projects (Contract)

Location: Baytown, Texas

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager with a proven track record in managing industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience, demonstrating expertise in all phases of project management, from inception to completion. The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage industrial construction projects from initiation to closeout, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  2. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  3. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly.
  4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Manage procurement activities, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and evaluating vendor performance.
  6. Monitor project financials, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures to optimize project profitability.
  7. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, conflicts, and issues that may impact project delivery or budget.
  8. Foster a culture of safety on-site, promoting best practices and ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols.
  9. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  10. Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate performance, identify lessons learned, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. 8-10 years of progressive experience in industrial construction project management, with a focus on large-scale projects.
  3. Experience in Steel Industry/water treatment plant preferred
  4. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  5. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with expertise in industrial construction processes.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  7. Proficiency in project management software (e.G., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project) and MS Office Suite.
  8. PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  10. Ability to travel to project site as required in Baytown, Texas
