What You’ll Do:
You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify opportunities, and deliver insights that drive better business and clinical outcomes.
Analyze integrated datasets including claims, provider, member, and encounter data to identify trends and business impact
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot reports and scripts using SQL, Excel, and other analytics tools
Collaborate with business partners to understand needs, define requirements, and deliver actionable insights
Support and contribute to large-scale analytics initiatives with increasing autonomy
Assist in designing, testing, and implementing process improvements, including automation opportunities
Perform root-cause analysis on data anomalies and present clear findings and recommendations
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment while meeting targeted timelines
Take ownership of projects and proactively ask questions to understand business value
Apply quantitative analysis and data mining techniques to see beyond the numbers
Communicate insights clearly—both visually and verbally—to non-technical stakeholders
Independently engage with internal and external partners to gather requirements and validate results
Present data-driven insights and recommendations, incorporating feedback when needed
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, public health, health informatics, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Master’s degree preferred
4+ years of experience working with large datasets, data verification, and data management
OR 2+ years of relevant IT experience
Strong working knowledge of SQL or other querying languages
Healthcare analytics experience preferred
Familiarity with Python, R, or similar programmatic languages is a plus
Experience with statistical analysis, data modeling, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis
Exposure to modern BI and visualization tools such as Power BI
Bonus experience in financial modeling, claims pricing, contract or network analysis, ROI evaluation, or emerging trend analysis
Understanding of healthcare concepts such as claims payment, utilization management, provider/vendor contracts, or risk adjustment is a plus
