Our client is looking for an Dental Director to join their team! 

Job Description
The Dental Director is responsible for providing clinical leadership, fostering quality patient care, developing dental strategy, goals, and direction across a defined region or regions and multiple brands. In this critical role you will develop strategic plans to foster a culture of collaboration, clinical innovation, and efficiency that will led to developing best in class care for the patients we serve.  

In this role you will be leading efforts to develop patient facing clinical and operational staff, providing direction for the recruitment and retention of the dental staff to improve patient care.
In this role you will be serving as a Dentist, leading clinicians and non-clinicians in a non-chairside role leveraging your proven leadership abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care you will directly impact patient outcomes and improve business outcomes across multiple practices.
 
Responsibilities:
  1. Clinical Leadership
  • Provide clinical guidance and oversight to dental providers within your region.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance enterprise provider KPI’s including provider production per day, case acceptance rate,
  • Identify and assist in the implementation of new technology to enhance patient care and provider efficiency.
  • Communicate and drive implementation around enterprise clinical policies and procedures.
  1. Strategic Planning
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance clinical quality and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for same-store growth within individual JVs and region.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Consistently evaluate and identify associates for Path to Partnership track.
  1. Provider Recruitment, Retention, & Onboarding
  • Serve as a clinical advisor during the provider recruitment process.
  • Assist with the negotiation of offers and support internal recruiters in providing a streamlined recruitment experience for candidates.
  • Collaborate with operations to provide best-in-class provider onboarding experience. .
  • Partner with operations, clinical leadership and the local provider to drive retention strategies.
  1. Provider Coaching & Development
  • Identify specific areas for provider development in both clinical and leadership realms.
  • Holistically mentor and coach dental providers to encourage growth and limit burnout and job dissatisfaction.
  • Communicate and drive participation in all enterprise CE events.
  • Encourage entrepreneurial thinking among providers around JV growth and strategy.
  1. Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all enterprise, federal, and state regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly.
 
Experience & Training: 
  • Licensed Dentist in the State (or States) of Practice
  • Ability and willingness to be business signatory to ensure compliance with corporate practice of medicine laws and regulations for all practices under purview
  • Experience leading teams & clinical business functions within a Dental Service Organization
  • Multi-site leadership experience
