Company Overview:
We are an award-winning professional engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, and municipal services firm with a rich history and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Since our founding, we have been committed to creating innovative, constructible, and cost-conscious designs. Our team works diligently to support client goals, advocate for projects, and contribute to their success, all while maintaining a collaborative and positive company culture.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as a Project Designer/Drafter. In this role, you will utilize your site design knowledge and CADD skills to work on a wide range of land development projects, including site layout, grading, utility, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, NPDES, PennDOT HOP, and other permit and construction plans. Additionally, rendering experience is highly preferred, as you may be asked to apply your graphic design abilities to create rendered presentation plans. We’ve found that candidates with landscape architecture backgrounds have been successful in this position.
We are currently facing challenges with an existing designer and expect a potential departure within the next 6 to 12 months, so we are looking to bring someone on board who can contribute to our projects right away.
Position Requirements:
Associate’s degree in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
EIT or ASLA/PLA designation is helpful, but not mandatory.
Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Rendering experience is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Salary:
$60, 000 to $80, 000, depending on licensure and experience.
Location:
Preference for candidates who can work in Lancaster, with occasional commutes to York to start.
What We Offer:
We value hard work and believe in having fun while doing it. Our company provides a dynamic environment where you can leverage your experience, CADD knowledge, and communication skills to further your career. We offer quarterly employee appreciation outings, professional development opportunities, a business casual dress code, a collaborative culture, a flexible schedule, and a competitive pay and benefits package, including bonuses and a 401k plan with company match.
