Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team for a comprehensive computer refresh project using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). The successful candidate will ensure the smooth deployment of new hardware with minimal disruption to end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize SCCM to create and manage task sequences for OS deployment and automate the imaging and deployment process.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for imaging and deployment issues, collaborating with the team as needed.
- Track and manage hardware inventory, ensuring proper disposal of old equipment in compliance with company policies.
- Conduct post-deployment quality checks to verify proper functionality and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop support or related IT roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SCCM and a strong understanding of Windows OS deployment and imaging processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
