Job Summary:
The Information Security Director will be at the forefront of our organization's cybersecurity initiatives. This role is pivotal in providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight for the development and implementation of information security programs. Collaborating closely with engineers, analysts, and architects, the Director will be entrusted with establishing and upholding the highest standards of data protection and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the analysis, establishment, and optimization of technologies and security processes to ensure robust protection against unauthorized access.
  • Direct the Security Operations Center (SOC) ensuring real-time monitoring and swift response to security threats.
  • Recruit, mentor, and foster a team that is technically proficient and aligned with our organizational values.
  • Conduct rigorous independent verification and validation testing of company networks and sensitive systems.
  • Spearhead initiatives to fortify and upgrade our enterprise systems against potential security threats.
  • Formulate and steer IT security programs to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Offer training sessions to company personnel, elevating company-wide cybersecurity awareness.
  • Recognize and harness the varying strengths and skills within the team, promoting synergy and collaboration.
  • Lend unwavering support to the wider organization, contributing positively to our shared goals.
  • Champion transformative efforts, pushing the envelope for continuous growth and advancement in security realms.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of security projects, ensuring milestones are met with precision and efficacy.
Preferred Experience:
  • A minimum of 10 years in technical security roles with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proficient in security standards and frameworks such as NIST, NERC CIP, TSA Pipeline, PCI, and SOX.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security.
  • Demonstrable experience with cloud security and DevSecOps.
  • A track record of excellent judgment, fast decision-making capabilities, and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • CISSP Certification (minimum)
