We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Data Engineering to lead the design and execution of our Azure-based data platform. This role is central to driving digital transformation across the organization by delivering scalable, secure, and business-aligned data solutions.

ABOUT THE POSITION
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Data Engineering to lead the design and execution of our Azure-based data platform. This role is central to driving digital transformation across the organization by delivering scalable, secure, and business-aligned data solutions.
- Define and execute data engineering strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of Azure data services (Data Factory, Databricks, SQL DB, etc.).
- Drive digital transformation initiatives through data innovation and automation.
- Manage and mentor the data engineering team.
- Partner with business and technical leaders to ensure data solutions support growth and agility.
- Establish data governance, security, and quality standards.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to evolve data architecture and tooling.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years in data engineering, including 5+ in leadership.
- Proven success leading Azure data platform initiatives in enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of data architecture, ETL, and cloud data operations.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure DataOps a plus.
- Azure certifications required;Snowflake and Databricks certifications preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and execution skills.
