ERP Manager

Job Description


Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic ERP Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in managing ERP systems, particularly Epicor ERP, within a manufacturing environment. As an ERP Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing technical operations, leading development teams, and ensuring seamless integration and functionality of our ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • ERP System Management: Oversee the management, configuration, and optimization of the Epicor ERP system, including BPMs, BAQs, SQL Servers, and integrations.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and manage technical operations and development teams, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance.
  • Integration Management: Manage EDI and TMS (Transformation Management System) integrations to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Cloud Migration: Lead the transition from on-premise environments to cloud-based solutions, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Utilize creative problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking to address complex challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Prioritize and manage multiple initiatives, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate complex information to a business audience, ensuring clear understanding and informed decision-making.
  • Relationship Management: Build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships and managed service/consulting partnerships, ensuring quality service and alignment with company goals.
  • Leadership: Inspire and lead operations teams through strategic thinking and innovation, driving team performance and achieving business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional IT industry experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • ERP Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Epicor ERP;BPMs, BAQs, SQL Servers, and integrations.
  • Integration Knowledge: Experience with EDI and TMS integrations.
  • Cloud Migration: Prior experience with moving from on-premise environments to cloud-based solutions is highly preferred.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven creative problem-solving ability and strategic thinking.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with a track record of prioritizing multiple initiatives and meeting deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and passionate about your work.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire operations teams through strategic thinking and innovation.
  • Resource Coordination: Ability to coordinate resources outside of direct management to support strategies and initiatives.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project Management: Ability to balance, prioritize, and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Vendor Management: Experience managing vendors and managed service/consulting partnerships.
