We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee electrical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality electrical solutions for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Plan, execute, and manage electrical engineering projects.
    • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
    • Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

  • Engineering Design:
    • Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and communication systems.
    • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
    • Perform load calculations, system sizing, and selection of electrical equipment.
    • Ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.

  • Coordination and Collaboration:
    • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide technical expertise.
    • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and suppliers.
    • Review and approve technical submittals and shop drawings.
    • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent.

  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.
    • Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems.
    • Address any non-conformances and implement corrective actions.

  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with construction administration and field inspections.
