Job Description


Our client is seeking an experienced Epicor Data Warehouse Developer to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data integration initiatives across nine business units. The organization currently operates Epicor ERP 10 (on-premise) and is preparing for a future migration to Epicor Kinetic Cloud, creating an exciting opportunity to help shape the company's data architecture and analytics strategy.

This role will be responsible for designing and maintaining data warehouse solutions, developing Power BI reporting and dashboards, building ETL processes, supporting enterprise integrations, and enabling data-driven decision making across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Warehouse Development & Architecture
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions supporting multiple business units.
  • Create scalable data models that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Develop and optimize data structures, dimensional models, and data marts.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and consistency across enterprise systems.
  • Support ongoing modernization efforts as the organization transitions to cloud-based platforms.
Power BI Development & Analytics
  • Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and executive scorecards.
  • Create advanced DAX calculations, KPIs, measures, and performance metrics.
  • Develop self-service reporting solutions for business users.
  • Partner with leadership and functional teams to identify reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Optimize Power BI performance and data refresh processes.
ETL & Data Integration
  • Develop and maintain Talend ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Design and support integrations between Epicor ERP, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications.
  • Build automated workflows to move, transform, and validate data across systems.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and improve data reliability and performance.
  • Support API development and integration strategies.
Epicor ERP & Data Management
  • Develop solutions leveraging Epicor ERP data structures and business processes.
  • Create and optimize SQL queries, views, and datasets supporting reporting initiatives.
  • Support data extraction, transformation, and reporting requirements for Epicor ERP.
  • Collaborate with ERP administrators and developers on enterprise reporting and analytics projects.
  • Assist with future Epicor Kinetic Cloud reporting and data architecture initiatives.
Data Migration & Conversion Projects
  • Participate in data migration and conversion efforts related to ERP upgrades and cloud initiatives.
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, transformation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Develop migration processes and tools to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Support testing and post-migration validation efforts.
Cloud Data Strategy
  • Support cloud data platform initiatives and modernization efforts.
  • Assist in defining API strategies and enterprise integration standards.
  • Contribute to cloud reporting, analytics, and data governance initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enterprise data architecture.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in data warehouse development, business intelligence, or data engineering.
  • Experience designing and supporting enterprise data warehouse architectures.
  • Strong Power BI development experience, including advanced DAX and data modeling.
  • Hands-on Talend ETL development experience.
  • Strong SQL Server and T-SQL development skills.
  • Experience integrating data from ERP, CRM, and third-party business applications.
  • Experience with data migration, conversion, and validation projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Epicor ERP 10 and/or Epicor Kinetic data structures.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing and distribution organizations.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP and enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise integration architecture.
  • Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, or other cloud data platforms.
  • Understanding of data governance, master data management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience supporting multi-business-unit environments.
