Job Description

GTN is seeking a skilled professional for a hybrid role based in Tennessee. This direct hire opportunity involves both remote and in-office work. Our client is a Global company that has been in production for over 70 years. You will be joining an organization that has been using Epicor for 20+ years and a team of 6. As a Jr. Programmer Analyst you will have a mentor with 10+ years of experience to work with and learn. IF you are looking to grow in your development and have an impact on the organization you work for this is a great opportunity.

  • Design, develop, implement, maintain, and support ERP systems, including data, programs, and integrations.
  • Provide ERP functional expertise in data management, warehouse/inventory management, accounting, finance, and sales.
  • Perform ETL data imports, exports, and modifications.
  • Develop reporting solutions using various tools and recommend strategies for database design, development, and support.
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance and review of application systems and programs.
  • Engage in all levels of testing, including unit testing, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Offer technical assistance by addressing inquiries related to errors, problems, or program questions.
  • Train end users or technical support staff on program usage.
  • Participate in management meetings and provide updates on IT business development projects.
  • Occasionally travel overnight (less than 10%).
  • Adapt positively to change.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education/experience in related activities.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server, .NET, VB.Net, C#, and other programming languages.
  • Proven experience in analyzing, optimizing, and administering ERP systems;Epicor ERP development experience, including .Net forms customizations, BAQs, and BPMs, is preferred.
  • Application Studio knowledge
  • Strong diagnostic and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Accountability for personal actions and business outcomes.
  • Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Participate in video calls/team meetings via webcam.
  • Reliable attendance is essential.
