Job Description
GTN Technical Staffing is supporting a premier manufacturing client with a major ERP transformation. We're seeking an experienced Epicor Consultant to lead key efforts in Epicor Kinetic, MRP, MES configuration, and data migration as part of a plant-wide modernization project.
This is a high-impact consulting role where you'll collaborate directly with operations leadership and plant management to deliver clean master data, a fully functioning MES, and a sustainable planning and scheduling process.
Key Responsibilities

Data Readiness & Migration
-
Extract, cleanse, and prepare master data for Epicor using Access, SQL, and Epicor DMT.

Convert units of measure, de-duplicate records, and structure templates for upload.

Manufacturing Planning Configuration
-
Lead and document routing and scheduling rule workshops.
-
Design and configure MRP and finite-capacity scheduling parameters.

Run simulations and analytics to support decision-making and scenario testing.

Costing & Work Order Setup
-
Align labor and overhead costing with finance and define issue/backflush rules.

MES & Shop-Floor Enablement
-
Set up MES workstations and menus.

Deliver hands-on coaching to shop-floor staff and configure data collection interfaces.

Ensure high-quality, valid transactional data from day one.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

Create SOPs, quick-start guides, and train-the-trainer content.

Certify internal team members to independently manage and sustain the system.

Go-Live & Hyper-Care
-
Support go-live onsite and remain available on-call during hyper-care to resolve issues and adjust parameters.

Ideal Candidate Profile
-
At least two Epicor Kinetic implementations with advanced MES and MRP modules.

Expertise in Access, SQL, Power Query, and Epicor DMT.

Strong facilitation skills for BOM/routing workshops in job-shop or ETO environments.

Hands-on experience training and coaching operators with limited tech exposure.

Proven ability to lead change, communicate with stakeholders, and deliver under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications

Epicor Certifications (e.G., Kinetic, Advanced MES)

Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP certification
-
Experience in large-scale ERP or digital manufacturing transformations
