Job Title: Epicor Operations Consultant Location: Remote with On-Site Travel as Needed (Minnesota and South Dakota) Duration: 3-6 Month Full-Time Contract Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Epicor Operations Consultant to support our client’s Epicor Kinetic implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations and hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic, including MRP, Scheduling, Job Management, Shipping & Receiving, Quoting, Purchasing, and Supply Chain Management. This role involves requirements gathering, user training, and business process optimization to ensure a successful implementation.
This is a full-time contract role (3-6 months) with required on-site travel at key implementation milestones. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and align Epicor Kinetic functionality with operational needs.
Provide hands-on configuration and optimization of Epicor Kinetic modules, including MRP, Scheduling, Job Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Shipping/Receiving.
Conduct user training sessions to ensure successful adoption of Epicor Kinetic.
Assist in business process mapping and improvement to align with best practices in manufacturing operations.
Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance on Epicor workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
Work closely with IT teams, functional leads, and end-users to ensure a seamless implementation.
Travel on-site for key project milestones, training, and go-live support.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of Epicor Kinetic implementation experience, including hands-on system configuration.
Strong knowledge of MRP, Scheduling, Job Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Business Process Optimization.
Experience training end users and conducting workshops.
Manufacturing industry experience with an understanding of shop floor processes and supply chain workflows.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel on-site as required during key project phases.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Epicor customizations, BPMs, and reports.
Knowledge of Epicor Data Analytics (EDA) or Business Intelligence tools.
Previous experience with change management and ERP best practices.
