Epicor Prophet 21 Consultant –Implementation & Operations
Location: Remote with travel to Austin, TX area as needed
Duration: Full-time through March 2026 (Go-Live scheduled March 2026)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Epicor Prophet 21 Consultant to support a full-cycle implementation project. The ideal candidate will have deep operational expertise, strong technical skills, and a proven track record of successful Prophet 21 deployments. This role will focus on business process optimization, workflow configuration, system customization, and integration with key business tools.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and participate in all phases of the Prophet 21 implementation, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-launch support.

Collaborate with stakeholders to document and optimize business processes, ensuring operational efficiency.

Configure and customize Prophet 21 workflows, DynaChanges, and Screen Changes to align with business needs.

Design and manage data flows between Prophet 21 and integrated systems.

Implement and configure integration tools, including:

StockIQ (demand planning & forecasting)

DocStar / Epicor ECM (document management)
-
Grow (business intelligence)
-
Epicor Data Analytics (EDA)
-
F&O (Finance & Operations integration)
-
Bartender (label printing and barcode solutions)
-

Work with both shared cloud and dedicated SQL Server environments to ensure optimal system performance.

Provide technical and operational guidance to internal teams during testing, training, and cutover activities.

Support system data migration, validation, and troubleshooting.

Travel to the Austin, TX area as required for workshops, training sessions, and go-live activities.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience with Epicor Prophet 21 implementations.

Strong operational background with a deep understanding of distribution, inventory management, purchasing, and order processing workflows.

Hands-on technical skills with Prophet 21 configurations, workflows, and customizations.

Proven experience integrating Prophet 21 with StockIQ, DocStar/ECM, Grow, EDA, F&O, and Bartender.

Experience working with shared cloud and dedicated SQL Server environments.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
