Epitaxy Equipment Technician
HIGHLIGHTS
Location: Tempe, Arizona
Job Type: Full-Time
Hourly / Salary: Based on Experience
Residency Status: US Citizen or Green Card Holder ONLY
Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Equipment Technician with specific experience in Epitaxy tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Epitaxy equipment in a cleanroom environment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on wafer fab and related semiconductor processing equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and process teams to ensure optimal tool performance and uptime.
- Utilize electro-mechanical knowledge to diagnose system issues and execute corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation of maintenance and performance activities.
- Hands-on experience working with Epitaxy tools is required.
- Facilities’experience, not expert, but a working understanding of the facilities (peripheral equipment to the Epi tools)
- Secondary experience with wafer fab equipment preferred.
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and comfort working with complex machinery.
- Proven track record in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and tool uptime optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Experience in high-volume semiconductor fabrication environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Local candidates strongly preferred due to the hands-on nature of the role.
