Fusion Design Engineer

Our client is looking for a Fusion Design Engineer to join their team!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Designer with expertise in Fusion software to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to design and develop innovative solutions within the semiconductor industry. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, proficiency in Fusion software, and the ability to work efficiently on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the CTO to understand project requirements and design specifications.
  • Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and simulations using Fusion software.
  • Develop and optimize design concepts for semiconductor components and systems.
  • Ensure all designs meet industry standards and project-specific requirements.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from the CTO and other stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices in the semiconductor industry.
  • follow established convention and templates
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Designer, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Proficiency in Fusion software (e.G., Fusion 360) is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor design principles and processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects from concept to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take direction and collaborate with technical teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • years of professional experience in a design role, with a focus on the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience over degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other design software (e.G., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the semiconductor manufacturing process.
