HR Director
Location: Houston (Hybrid)
An established company in the manufacturing and light industrial sector is actively seeking an HR Director to take the helm of their Human Resources department. The role requires direct reporting to the Divisional President and Chief People Officer and calls for collaboration with international teams, requiring flexibility to manage time zone differences.
Day to Day
The HR Director will continue to develop HR initiatives, including leadership of significant projects such as policy and procedure integrations. The role necessitates a partnership with the Talent Acquisition and HR Specialist teams, providing mentorship while allowing for autonomous operation. A significant element of the position is public speaking, leading various organizational meetings.
Background/Experience
The position is ideal for a Senior HR Generalist with a consistent track record (4-6 years minimum at the current employer) and readiness to step into a directorial role. A degree is required, with preference for additional HR certifications (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP). Leadership experience and an approach that favors mentorship and team development are crucial.
Additional Details:
The candidate must be adaptable to working with teams across different time zones and be open to travel less than 10% of the time. The compensation package includes a competitive salary of $160-165K, complemented by a 20% bonus, with a generous allotment of vacation time.
