Job Description
Overview:
The IT Security Engineer is hands-on with all phases of our client's security tools lifecycle: from inception to planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and maintaining. You will be part of a security team and will be looked up to as a subject matter expert that is communicative with all others. You need to have an excellent understanding of technology infrastructure for on premise and cloud environments to be successful in this position. The position reports to the IT Security and Compliance Director.

- Next Generation Firewall (Palo Alto, Cisco).
- SIEM (Rapid7, Splunk, AlienVault, LogRhythm).
- EDR (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- ZTNA (Cloudflare, Zscaler).
- WAF (Imperva, Cloudflare, Akamai).
- Vulnerability Management (Rapid7, Tenable, Qualys).
- AWS Cloud Security.
- IAM/MFA/SSO (Okta, One Identity).
- Linux/Windows administration – desktop and server.
- Networking.
- Certificates/cryptography management.
- Security vulnerability management.
- Security incident management.
- Security architecture.
- Security testing (penetration testing, tool efficacy, compensating controls, etc.).
- Actively contribute to documentation.
- Assist in escalated security findings.
- Contribute to the creation and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date on security technologies and threats.
- Demonstrate a functional understanding of regulatory and compliance programs.
- Provide cybersecurity metrics.
- Be on call on a rotational basis to support essential business functions and security incidents.
- Provide an honest and transparent effort to deliver as promised.
- Attend all company required training.
