Our client is looking for an Industrial Warehouse Worker to join their team!
Job Description
- Communicates with Material Person craft and others to perform job tasks.
- Inventories against purchase order to ensure proper equipment and materials are received in satisfactory condition.
- Stores, retrieves, loads and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles.
- Works from ground or aerial devices.
- Moves materials from warehouse and prepares for delivery to jobsite.
- Pulls materials for jobsite requirements or material move request.
- Stores equipment in designated areas and maintains appropriate records.
- Keeps running log of all consumable items used and reorders as needed.
- Retrieves and issues materials upon receipt of material request and maintains appropriate records of movements.
- Maintains warehouse locations including main, remote, or tool room i.e., sweeping, painting, cleaning, etc. as required.
- Adheres to all safety procedures.
- Adhere to our clients Standard Work Processes and Procedures (SWPP’s).
- Participate in STARTT Card discussions on a daily basis.
- Typically requires 6 months of industrial construction experience.
Summary of Duties:
- Must be able to read and write and comprehend basic English.
- Must be able to learn and use automated tracking equipment.
- Requires lifting and carrying of equipment and material.
- Receives equipment and materials by unloading trucks using the appropriate equipment and/or technique(s) for the item(s') size.
- Uses hand tools to assemble equipment and structures.
- Stores, removes, loads, and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets, trailers and vehicles that cannot be handled by material handling devices.
- Moves materials and supplies from the warehouse and prepares for delivery to the job site.
- Some assembly of materials/equipment will be required.
- Deliver materials to job sites as required.
- Stores equipment in designated areas and maintains appropriate records of such storage.
- Cleans and maintains the tool room in proper condition.
- Able to learn paperwork requirements
- Will be required to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Warehouse experience: 1 year (Required)
- License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
