Junior Systems Administrator
HIGHLIGHTS
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Position Type: Direct Hire
Hourly / Salary: Based on Experience
Residency Status: US Citizen or Green Card Holder ONLY
Responsibilities:
- Assist Desktop Administrators as a resource for ticket escalation.
- Maintain virtual and physical backups.
- Perform restores from backups as needed and for testing.
- Monitors and maintains company file shares.
- Creates and maintains documentation for server and storage systems.
- Provides support for other teams as needed (networking, server applications, etc.)
- Prioritize and escalate tickets as needed.
- Maintain and implement SSL certificates for servers and storage.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years help desk or senior help desk
- Windows 10 and 11, server 2016, 2019, 2022
- Active Directory
- VMware products vSphere 7.0, and Horizon 8.0
- Basic SQL experience
- Printer support
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated and a team player.
- Good observance of policies and regulations
- Available to work non-business hours
- Some physical labor is required such as installation of servers.
