Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing technical and operational support for our client’s Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) as a member of Corporate IT’s Network Infrastructure team.

Our client is looking for aLAN/ WAN Engineer to join their team!
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing technical and operational support for our client’s Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) as a member of Corporate IT’s Network Infrastructure team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine configuration changes and maintenance on the client's Network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, Wireless Access Points).
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
- Administer Forescout NAC platform.
- Travel to client locations to perform upgrades/installs as necessary (up to 25%).
- Provide technical support and guidance to subsidiary and business unit IT personnel.
- Work with local IT resources and service providers to establish and decommission client branch offices.
- Initiate, manage and close out internal and service provider tickets.
- Research problems and evaluate solutions.
- Perform other duties or tasks as required.
- Three years minimum experience supporting WAN environments.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- Experience support SDWAN (Meraki and Velocloud).
- Knowledge of scripting to perform mass configuration changes and upgrades.
- Knowledge of BGP Routing protocol.
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and GlobalProtect VPN.
- Experience with InfoBlox DDI and Forescout NAC platform preferred.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to work independently.
- High school or better
- Three years minimum experience supporting WAN environment required
