Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Administrator to manage and optimize our Microsoft cloud environment with a focus on Intune, End User Computing, Active Directory, SharePoint, and Windows Autopilot. This role supports a secure and compliant IT environment, especially within regulated sectors. The right candidate will blend technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a security-first mindset to deliver reliable M365 administration and support.
Core Skills Required
  • Microsoft 365 System Administration –Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related services.
  • Intune / Endpoint Manager –Device enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, and endpoint security.
  • End User Computing –Windows 10/11 management, patching, device lifecycle, and user support.
  • Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID) –Identity & Access Management, MFA, Conditional Access, hybrid AD integration.
  • SharePoint Administration –Site collections, permissions, governance, content management.
  • Windows Autopilot –Zero-touch device provisioning and deployment automation.
  • PowerShell Scripting –Automation, bulk administration, and reporting.
  • Security & Compliance –Microsoft Defender, Purview, DLP, and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 workloads: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
  • Configure and manage Intune (Endpoint Manager) for device enrollment, policies, application deployment, and mobile device management.
  • Manage and secure identities with Active Directory / Azure AD / Entra ID, including MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC.
  • Support Windows Autopilot for device provisioning, deployment automation, and end-user onboarding.
  • Provide end-user computing support: troubleshoot device, authentication, and endpoint issues.
  • Maintain governance and content management within SharePoint Online.
  • Monitor and maintain endpoint patching, security baselines, and compliance policies.
  • Administer Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Purview, and Compliance Center.
  • Automate administrative tasks with PowerShell for efficiency and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Networking teams to ensure M365 is secure, compliant, and optimized.
  • Maintain documentation: system configurations, policies, procedures, and runbooks.
  • Support security audits, incident response, and compliance reviews.
  • Participate in migrations, upgrades, rollouts, and new feature adoption across M365 suite.
Qualifications
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • 3+ years hands-on M365 administration experience in enterprise environments. Government Cloud experience is a nice to have.
  • Strong experience with Intune, Azure AD / Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and Autopilot.
  • Experience with GCC / GCC-High / DoD environments strongly preferred. No required.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
  • Knowledge of end-user device lifecycle management and endpoint security.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Purview, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.G., M365 Enterprise Admin Expert, Security Admin, Endpoint Admin) are a plus.
