Maintenance Manager HIGHLIGHTS Location:Tempe, AZ (in office) Position Type: Direct Hire Salary: BOE Residency Status: US Citizen or Green Card Holder ONLY
SUMMARY
Will superviser two maintenance technicians and work in conjunction with various departments, such as Production support and Manufacturing Engineering of two buildings to ensure that machines or equipment are properly maintained or repaired when necessary.
Maintain a comprehensive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program to ensure machines are fully operational and manufacturing is not disrupted by unplanned outages.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES.
Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals or drawings
Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
Rebuild manufacturing equipment, as required
May perform equipment modifications, as directed by manufacturing engineers
All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
Communicate professionally with machine manufacturers, parts suppliers, and sub-contractors
Manage parts ordered with suppliers
Manage appropriately machine sub-contractors to include they meet safety requirements, and company’s protocols
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual TPM activities for all the equipment to ensure overall efficiency reducing down time and maximizing up time
Maintain relationships with key third-party vendors and OEM manufacturers to identify critical spare parts for key equipment

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supervising mechanical or electrical equipment manufacturing maintenance technicians.
Comprehend OSHA standards in regards to performing work duties
Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to take on responsibilities as required
Demonstrate high attention to detail
Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
Ability to work overtime when needed
Ability to work with diverse groups
Effective multitasking and prioritization skills
Demonstrate teamwork and the ability to operate on diverse project teams with moderate direction
2-year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
3+ years of mechanical or electrical equipment manufacturing experience
Proficient with hand-held mechanical and power tools and test equipment
Demonstrate quality workmanship
Effective problem solving skills and the ability to identify viable solutions under moderate supervision
