Our client is seeking an experienced Manager of SAP Shared Services to lead functional and technical teams supporting key SAP modules including Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (PTP), Finance & Controlling (FICO), and ABAP development. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires deep SAP knowledge, strong people management skills, and a proven ability to drive results through collaboration and innovation. Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and mentor cross-functional SAP teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Provide subject matter expertise in SAP, with a strong emphasis on OTC, PTP, and/or FICO modules.
Design, configure, and support SAP systems in alignment with business requirements.
Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP projects and enhancements, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units to ensure seamless SAP integration with boundary applications.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users, translating complex technical concepts into business solutions.
Champion continuous improvement and drive optimization of SAP performance and functionality.
Ensure security, compliance, and system reliability within SAP shared services.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
Provide hands-on support for functional and technical inquiries as needed.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Required)
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Preferred)
Experience:
8+ years of SAP experience with a focus on FICO, OTC, and/or PTP modules.
4+ years of experience leading SAP teams or managing SAP-focused initiatives.
Full lifecycle implementation experience in one or more of the following SAP modules: FICO, OTC, and/or PTP.
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA processes and technical infrastructure.
Experience with agile project management methodologies and tools.
Proficiency in ITIL/ITSM frameworks and tools such as ServiceNow.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Deep understanding of business process design and system integration.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and tools.
Experience aligning large stakeholder groups around system strategies and change initiatives.
Additional Information
Travel: Up to 20% to local Houston-area sites.
