Our client is about to go live with Epicor Kinetic and is looking to bring in a Manager of Business Information Systems to support the go-live and support Infrastructure and Network systems. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into a management role and be part of the leadership team for a growing company.
Position Overview: The Manager of Business Information Systems provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure the effective implementation and utilization of structured and unstructured information systems, primarily Epicor Kinetic ERP and Epicor ECM (formerly DocStar) Document Management. This role is pivotal in aligning business processes with data and systems to drive growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a collaborative, creative, and energetic style, guided by the company's objectives and core values.

Job Description
Our client is about to go live with Epicor Kinetic and is looking to bring in a Manager of Business Information Systems to support the go-live and support Infrastructure and Network systems. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into a management role and be part of the leadership team for a growing company.
Position Overview: The Manager of Business Information Systems provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure the effective implementation and utilization of structured and unstructured information systems, primarily Epicor Kinetic ERP and Epicor ECM (formerly DocStar) Document Management. This role is pivotal in aligning business processes with data and systems to drive growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a collaborative, creative, and energetic style, guided by the company's objectives and core values.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and manage primary Business Information Systems such as Epicor Kinetic ERP and Epicor ECM (DocStar) Document Management to support departmental and user efficiencies and improvements.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, BAQs, BPMs, Dashboards
- Ensure software platforms are kept up to date on releases (excluding OS or Office365 stack).
- Manage third-party IT teams providing hardware, OS, database, and network support and management.
- Collaborate with department heads to enhance system usage for increased efficiency in line with company goals.
- Lead future rollouts and/or new module implementations to other divisions and departments.
- Communicate effectively and clearly with direct reports and managers.
- Manage software environments including but not limited to: Epicor Kinetic ERP, Epicor ECM (DocStar) Document Management, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, BobCAD, BendSIM, QuickBooks, and Sage 50.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-10 years of experience in IT, focusing on application development and business processes.
- Experience with ERP and Document Management Systems, preferably Epicor products.
- BAQs, BPMs
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Alignment with the company's core values
- A passion for team success
