Principal Architect ( Application Architect )

Lead the design and development of a high-transaction, regulatory-compliant system, prioritizing 100% compliance with federal regulations to protect the company’s interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design a scalable, secure microservices architecture using NodeJS, React, and PostgreSQL.
- Ensure compliance with strict financial regulations, integrating security measures, API gateways, and IAM solutions.
- Guide engineering teams as a technical manager, fostering innovation and adherence to architectural standards.
- Develop integration strategies for third-party services, payment gateways, and compliance systems.
- Monitor system performance, optimize for accuracy and reliability, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align architectural vision with project goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years in software architecture, with 3+ years as a principal architect focused on Microservices Architecture and design patterns, including service discovery and load balancing
- Expertise in NodeJS, React, and PostgreSQL, with strong experience in high-transaction systems.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevSecOps practices.
- Deep understanding of API gateways, IAM (e.G., OAuth 2.0), and security standards (e.G., OWASP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to lead technical discussions and influence decisions.
