Job Description
We’re partnering with a growing OEM client to hire a Project Engineer with automotive industry experience. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with hybrid flexibility (2 days per week in-office possible).
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys leading projects, interfacing with OEM customers, and driving programs from concept through production.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–4 years of automotive industry experience
- Experience in an OEM environment (required)
- Strong project management background
- Experience working directly with OEM customers
- Quality Engineering experience (strongly preferred)
- Design Engineering experience (nice to have)
- Hands-on CAD design capability
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required)
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license highly preferred
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Lead cross-functional projects from design through production launch
- Serve as the engineering interface with OEM customers
- Manage timelines, budgets, and technical deliverables
- Support design reviews, validation, APQP, and engineering changes
- Ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met
