ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the technical execution of land development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all engineering activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project goals. This role requires strong leadership in managing project teams, liaising with regulatory agencies, and maintaining effective communication among all stakeholders.
Lead and coordinate the efforts of engineering teams, including E.I.T.S, CAD designers, technicians, sub-consultants, and contractors, to achieve project milestones.
Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and technical execution to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
Oversee construction phase services, including site visits, reviewing bid documents, evaluating submittals, and processing pay applications.
Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements to provide informed guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives and jurisdictional agencies, ensuring smooth coordination across all project phases.
REQUIREMENTS 3-5+ years in the following skill sets...
Civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects.
Project engineering with demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to clients, contractors, and regulatory personnel.
Strong background in AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D
Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain licensure in the state of employment.
Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.
Leadership & Communication:
Problem-Solving: Capable of analyzing complex engineering challenges and implementing practical solutions with minimal oversight.
