Job Description

The Project Manager oversees multifunctional teams to execute automation and robotics projects. They manage resources, schedules, and finances, adhering to IAS project management standards throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include managing actions, issues, risks, and project change requests for successful and timely project delivery. The Project Manager has the authority to manage day-to-day project operations, including procurement and production as per project needs. Additionally, they serve as the primary liaison with customers and collaborate with third-party vendors when necessary.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**

- Lead teams and resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
- Develop Project Launch materials in coordination with engineering and management teams.
- Manage and report project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks, while resolving issues.
- Maintain critical project documents, including the Action Register and procurement/accounting documents.
- Efficiently communicate with customers and facilitate project workflow.
- Identify and manage scope deviations, costs, and change order protocols.
- Supervise, coordinate, and review the status of deliverables from staff engineers.
- Assist in sales calls, project proposals, and quotes.
- Report project status to company leadership, monitoring deadlines, costs, and quality.
- Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contracts.
- Source and collaborate with third-party contractors to meet installation deadlines and additional capacity needs.
- Develop standard operating procedures with the management team.
- Ensure project performance by assisting in the design, testing, and installation of projects.
- Oversee and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform other job duties as required.

**Minimum Education and Experience Required**

- BA/BS degree in a related field from an accredited university;or an Associate degree in a related technical field from an accredited college PLUS three years of project management experience.
- Three years of experience in technical project management.
- High proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- High technical proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new software packages.
- Familiarity with automation equipment.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Proficiency in CAD Tools.
- Experience in custom automation/machine building.
- Experience with robotic systems.
- Familiarity with Industry Standards UL and CE.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) license.
- Knowledge of ERP and Project Management software.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience mentoring others.
- Ability to organize and assign work effectively utilizing the skills, knowledge, and experience of other employees.
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle situations with limited standardization.
- Experience formulating and documenting high-level plans with input from various functional groups.
- Ability to work under pressure of schedules.

**Physical Requirements**

- Capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs. And occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Able to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color determination, and adjustment of focus.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to bend, twist, climb, kneel, and balance.
- Occasionally required to use hands to grasp, reach, and operate objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasional exposure to a production environment.
- Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.
