Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Prophet 21 Technical Consultant for a 6-month contract with a client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Prophet 21 (P21) systems, including SQL, DynaChange, screen modifications, and customizations. This is a hybrid role, requiring a local candidate who can work both on-site and remotely as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align them with Prophet 21 system capabilities.
- Perform SQL queries, data analysis, and system integration tasks to support the P21 implementation.
- Configure and modify DynaChange rules to enhance system functionality.
- Design and implement screen changes and customizations to meet client needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the implementation process.
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure a smooth transition.
- Document processes, configurations, and customizations for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Prophet 21 (P21) ERP system implementation and customization.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, reporting, and data manipulation.
- Expertise in DynaChange configuration and customization.
- Experience with screen changes and UI/UX modifications within P21.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Local to Houston, TX, with the ability to work on-site as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in distribution or supply chain industries.
- Familiarity with other ERP systems and integrations.
- Strong documentation and training skills.

- Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
