Job Description


Our client is seeking a highly skilled Prophet 21 Developer to join their team and enhance their ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21), deep SQL development skills, and expertise in DynaChange, system customizations, and cloud-based deployments. This role will focus on optimizing the P21 system, developing reports, improving user experience, and providing ongoing support to business users.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, customize, and optimize Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) to meet business needs.
  • Utilize SQL Server to develop complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance-tuned database solutions.
  • Create and maintain DynaChange rules and customizations for process automation and user experience improvements.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) or other reporting tools.
  • Provide user support and training, troubleshooting system issues, and implementing solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ERP solutions.
  • Collaborate on integrations with third-party applications and assist in cloud migrations and optimizations.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization in the SQL database.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience developing and customizing Epicor Prophet 21 (P21).
  • Strong expertise in SQL Server development (queries, stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning).
  • Experience with DynaChange, Business Rules, and API integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with P21 Cloud and on-premise deployments.
  • Strong background in SQL-based report development (SSRS, Crystal Reports, or Power BI).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in user support and training.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with EDI, REST APIs, or middleware for external system integrations.
  • Knowledge of P21 upgrade processes and cloud transition strategies.
  • Prior experience in distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain industries.
