Our client is looking for a Quality Technician to join their team!
Job Description:
The employee will perform oversight of completed manufactured products and related test and certification documents to ensure products meet all requirements prior to release to customers and support related Quality assurance activities for aerospace customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Designated Quality Representative for key customers such as Honeywell, Boeing, Goodrich, Lockheed Martin.
Support customer portal access to include accessing customer Scorecards, document revisions, etc. and to reply to customer corrective action requests.
Generate FAA 8130-3 Release notices for PMA products under Part 21 CFR’s
Review test data, certificates of conformance, customer specific documents to ensure part compliance to specifications.
Perform sample over-inspection of part dimensional attributes to validate results.
Review and approve purchase orders for compliance to requirements prior to release to suppliers.
Support customer source inspections, internal and external audits, and related regulatory oversight.
Review and approve AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports and/or support FAI generation where required.
Generate discrepancy reports and support material review board analysis and root cause investigation.
Provide technical assistance to production assembly/test personnel.
Skills and Requirements:
Effectively works from written travelers, blueprints, schematics, quality data, and area procedures.

Ability to sit for prolonged periods in front of a computer as necessary.
Familiarity with typical Microsoft tools including Excel, Outlook, Access.
Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions.
Be team oriented and possess flexibility and adaptability.
Manual dexterity to utilize precision measuring instruments safely and proficiently.
Applicant must be ITAR compliant.
Experience:
Possesses previous experience in Aerospace industry and have 3-5 years in related Quality inspection.
