Our client is looking for a Sales - Food Distribution Account Manager to join their team!
Position Overview:
Sales - Food Distribution Account Manager must have experience with Sales in a Food Distribution and industry knowledge.
Position Requirements:
- Identify potential clients, initiate contact, and cultivate relationships
- Industry knowledge and be a self starter
- Present and sell company food products to new and existing clients
- Offer product samples and demonstrations to introduce products and attract new customers
- Collaborate with culinary teams or chefs to tailor products to clients’needs
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with clients
- Collect and process customer orders efficiently
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Provide customer feedback to company management and product development teams
- Coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues related to deliveries or product quality
- Attend food service industry trade shows and events to network and promote products
- Establish & maintain an efficient sales route to maximize customer contact and satisfaction.
- Cold call prospective customers.
- Weekly review of all customer accounts, following up on issues as needed., including short pays, credit issues, receivables issues, etc.
- Must be an enthusiastic self-starter who can work with little to no direct supervision.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual is a plus.
- Must be proficient with computers and tablets.
- Must live in Phoenix Az area
- Must have valid US work authorization.
- Must have a valid Driver License
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

- Food Industry Sales: 4 years (Required)
