Entry-Level Sales Representative, CoVerica

The Sales Representative can expect to receive:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Prospect and generate new commercial insurance leads.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify client insurance needs.
- Develop and present customized commercial insurance proposals (Property, Casualty, Liability, Workers' Compensation, etc.).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with middle market business clients.
- Negotiate terms and close new business accounts.
- Provide ongoing support to commercial clients.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams (Account Manager, Underwriting).
- Achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Maintain accurate client and prospect records.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure clients have adequate coverage.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients regarding their insurance needs.
- Product Knowledge and Industry Awareness:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of commercial lines insurance products and services.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and competitive offerings.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
- Proactively identify opportunities for partner carrier business.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of commercial lines insurance products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record in commercial insurance sales or a strong sales background with a desire to learn commercial lines.
- Valid Texas General Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with AMS and/or Salesforce preferred.
