Our client is looking for an Salesforce Developer to join their team!

POSITION PURPOSE

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to manage our Salesforce CRM system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce administration, customization, and user support. This role is critical to ensuring that our Salesforce platform operates efficiently and effectively to support our business processes and goals.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Perform day-to-day Salesforce administration, including user account maintenance, reports, dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality, security, and integrity.
  • Manage Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to) workflow, process builder, and validation rules.
  • Provide support to Salesforce users, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and create user documentation to ensure users are leveraging Salesforce effectively.
  • Customize Salesforce to meet the specific needs of the business, including custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and business processes.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support business needs.
  • Develop and maintain Apex code, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components as needed for custom development.
  • Oversee data imports, exports, and updates using data loader and other tools.
  • Implement and manage data deduplication, cleansing, and enrichment processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications.
  • Manage and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Stay current with Salesforce updates, features, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and implement new Salesforce features and third-party solutions to improve business processes and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.
  • Manage user roles, profiles, permissions, and other security settings.
  • Lead and participate in Salesforce-related projects, including new implementations, system upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, plan, and execute projects.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • There are no direct supervisory responsibilities for this position.

Safety
  • This is considered a non-safety-sensitive position but is subject to the company's drug and alcohol policy, as well as all OHSA regulations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • This position operates in a professional office environment that routinely uses standard office equipment requiring the ability to communicate in person and over the telephone with other employees, the ability to interpret printed materials and a computer screen, the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, the ability to lift and carry supplies and files weighing up to 50 pounds and to move about the inside of the office to access supplies, office machinery, etc.
  • May be required to work on a project site and if so, would be exposed to all weather, including extreme hot and cold temperatures.
  • Employee might be exposed to various chemicals, vapors, pollutants, virus or other air-borne pathogens, gases, uneven surfaces, loud noises, moving vehicles or machines and dust/debris.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
  • This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel
  • Must be willing to travel to any, and all company locations without exception (including staying away from home if necessary.) Percent of travel 5%


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Work Experience
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience.
  • Proficiency in data management and understanding of data quality principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and third-party applications.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is required.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean motor-vehicle record preferred.
  • Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check is required.
