GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a Direct-Hire, Hybrid role based in Addison, TX! The selected candidate will lead the design, implementation, and automation of scalable DevOps pipelines and infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment. This individual will collaborate across engineering, product, and security teams to modernize CI/CD processes, enhance deployment velocity, and support secure cloud-native infrastructure using DevSecOps best practices.

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a Direct-Hire, Hybrid role based in Addison, TX! The selected candidate will lead the design, implementation, and automation of scalable DevOps pipelines and infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment. This individual will collaborate across engineering, product, and security teams to modernize CI/CD processes, enhance deployment velocity, and support secure cloud-native infrastructure using DevSecOps best practices.
- DevOps Pipeline Design: Lead the build and management of CI/CD pipelines across AWS, Azure, and/or on-prem environments
- Infrastructure Automation: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Containerization & Microservices: Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitoring & Alerting: Integrate observability tools to monitor application and infrastructure performance, health, and cost-efficiency
- Project Leadership: Provide oversight for DevOps initiatives, ensuring timely delivery aligned with budget and business objectives
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering, security, and leadership teams to align infrastructure strategies with product goals
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
5+ years in the following technical skill sets…
- Cloud Platforms
- Deep experience with AWS (required), Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (highly desired, but not required)
- Proficient in infrastructure provisioning, cost optimization, and cloud security best practices
- CI/CD Tools
- Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Proven success in automating build, test, and release workflows
- Containerization & Orchestration
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience deploying and managing enterprise-scale microservices environments
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Expertise with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Automated provisioning, scaling, and teardown of infrastructure
- Monitoring & Observability
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk
- Ability to create dashboards, set alert thresholds, and drive reliability engineering
- Security & Compliance
- Strong understanding of IAM, secrets management, encryption
- Compliance familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, or FedRAMP
- Communication & Documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication in U.S. English
- Ability to document technical architecture and present findings to stakeholders
HIGHLY DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Vibe Coding / AIOps
- Familiarity with natural language or AI-assisted operations tools (e.G., GitHub Copilot, AIOps platforms)
