Senior Electrical Engineer
HIGHLIGHTS
Location: Graniteville, SC ONSITE

Overview:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll be the go-to electrical expert for key areas of the plant. You’ll lead improvement initiatives, support major equipment projects, and partner with internal teams and vendors to bring new machines and upgrades online on time and done right.
What you’ll actually be doing
Your work will span hands-on engineering, project leadership, and problem-solving:
- Serve as the electrical subject-matter expert for one or more plant areas
- Lead continuous improvement efforts and corrective action projects that drive real results
- Support internal teams by troubleshooting issues and providing technical guidance
- Own major projects such as new machine installations and equipment upgrades (typically $50K–$1M)
- Translate project requirements into practical, safe, and cost-effective engineering solutions
- Coordinate internal teams, automation vendors, and external contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, regulatory requirements, and plant policies
Engineering & technical focus
You’ll be hands-on where it counts:
- Design and finalize electrical solutions that meet scope, safety, and operational needs
- Develop engineering drawings and documentation using Autodesk tools
- Define Bills of Materials and spare parts strategies
- Perform equipment risk assessments and implement safety countermeasures
- Design and support electrical hardware, PLC and HMI programming, VFDs, servos, control networks, and system integration
- Specify and procure electrical components and services
- Support machine FATs, IO checkout, start-ups, and commissioning activities
What you bring to the table
You’re confident, collaborative, and technically sharp:
- Strong electrical engineering background in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience leading projects and working with automation vendors and contractors
- Comfort working across hardware design, controls, and system integration
- A safety-first mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to balance hands-on technical work with project leadership
