Senior OT Network Analyst

Highlights:

Our client is in need of a Senior OT Network Analys to join their team!

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Report to OT Manager
  • Provide general network design and engineering services
    • Review Existing & proposed network service and security architecture
    • Generate/Provide documentation of existing or proposed network architecture
  • Provide guidance or support in identifying and securing vulnerabilities and/or security gaps in the Fairfax Water OT environment
  • Perform requested security scans and audits if necessary
  • Review or change system configuration parameters to ensure best practices are met
  • Other tasks and projects as needed

Skills Required:
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across multiple projects concurrently and assume the responsibility for the appropriate technical and architectural implementation of complex, large-scale projects
  • Proven experience with managing or executing enterprise-level network projects and/or industrial networking projects.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or CCNP preferred.
  • Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, and WLAN design and implementation.
  • Proven experience with network planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
  • Expert knowledge of core routing and switching design principles, best practices, and related technologies.
  • Experience in implementing and managing both local area and wide area networks.
  • Working experience with Cisco Networking products.
  • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, copper and fiber cabling, TCP/IP, and Internet standards, including routers, switches, firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, RSTP, QoS, BGP, Metro Ethernet, and network attacks.
  • Minimum of eight years experience designing, implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise level IP networks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting experience.
  • Extensive application support experience with network monitoring and analysis.
  • Competence with testing tools and procedures.
  • Able to produce and maintain technical documents (e.G. Visio diagrams, design documents)
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Ability to lead OT network analysts.
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining working relationships among colleagues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Education & Experience:
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology (IT), computer science, or related field and 8 years of relevant networking experience or Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), computer science or related field.
  • 6 years of relevant networking experience;and/or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and knowledge
