Job Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Product Manager with deep expertise in retail digital commerce platforms to lead strategic product initiatives for a major retail client.
This role owns product strategy, roadmap execution, and cross-functional alignment for high-impact capabilities including marketplace integrations, product feed management, Product Detail Pages (PDP), inventory availability, digital merchandising, and personalized discovery experiences.
The ideal candidate brings proven leadership in retail eCommerce ecosystems, strong domain knowledge of product feeds and marketplace connectivity, expertise in PDP optimization and merchandising platforms (e.G., Stylitics), and the ability to drive measurable improvements in product discoverability, customer engagement, and conversion.
You will collaborate closely with merchandising, business, engineering, data, and external partners to define vision, prioritize delivery, and advance the client’s long-term digital commerce roadmap.
Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for core retail digital commerce capabilities.
- Align initiatives with business goals, digital commerce strategy, merchandising priorities, and customer experience objectives.
- Identify high-value opportunities to enhance product discovery, merchandising, marketplace presence, and personalization.
- Prioritize features and roadmap items based on business impact, customer value, technical feasibility, and effort.
Marketplace & Product Feed Management
- Lead product feed initiatives supporting marketplace integrations, AI-driven systems, inventory synchronization, and external platform connectivity.
- Define product data requirements, feed structures, enrichment processes, and integration strategies.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and scalable product data flow across internal catalogs, marketplace platforms, and digital storefronts.
- Collaborate on inventory availability and real-time data synchronization solutions.
Product Detail Page (PDP) & Digital Experience
- Drive PDP enhancements focused on conversion optimization, rich product presentation, and storytelling.
- Partner with merchandising and UX teams to improve product attributes, content quality, visual merchandising, and discovery journeys.
- Support content enrichment, media optimization, and experiences that boost customer engagement and trust.
Digital Merchandising & Personalization
- Champion personalized merchandising capabilities, including AI-driven recommendations, product bundling, and styling tools.
- Lead integration and optimization of third-party platforms (e.G., Stylitics or similar recommendation engines).
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to elevate merchandising effectiveness and personalization at scale.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business leaders, merchandising, engineering, data, and external partners to align strategy and execution.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, roadmap alignment sessions, and cross-functional requirement discussions.
- Serve as the central coordinator bridging business priorities and technical delivery.
Product Execution & Delivery
- Translate vision into detailed requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive delivery in Agile/Scrum environments alongside engineering teams.
- Oversee feature launches, monitor adoption, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
Analytics & Performance Monitoring
- Define and track KPIs related to product discoverability, conversion, engagement, marketplace performance, and merchandising effectiveness.
- Leverage data insights to evaluate performance, validate hypotheses, and inform future roadmap decisions.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve customer experience and business outcomes.
